As most of you are already aware, the mature section was nothing more than a prank for April Fool's. However, it would seem some wires were crossed during the prank and now there is some confusion circulating around the forum. The Mature forum was only intended to be there until April 2nd... but recent developments have shown that most of you would actually prefer it the forum was made real.

For now the forum will be available but no one will be able to make topics in the forum until a decision is reached among the staff on whether to keep it around or not.

You already had a mature sub forum for art and a sub forum for writing. Wouldn't it just be easier to add a sub forum for role playing?

I suspect the fact the forum popped up before April Fool's is:

a. Why everyone was so interested
b. Technically cheating at a prank since you started before the day in question came up.

As such, the only thing you and the Staff can do to correct this is all commit ritual suicide to appease Lord Fot'zi, Dark God of Pranks bring back this thingy and see what comes happens.

Still, better joke than taking away the Status Update tool off the front page.

I was under the impression that the sub forum was a real thing and had been around. Obviously I was wrong. But I rather appreciate it being around. It makes thing much more organized. I must have to insist it stay or we all face the danger of not appeasing Lord Fot'zi the rest of the members who agree it's a wonderful addition.

So instead of capitalizing on what looks like a good idea, you decided to save face on your April Fools joke? Isn't this work you could have avoided True? Haha.

Regardless of the staff's decision, some figment of the mature forum will linger. It all comes down to where it'll be located.
