Don't listen to that last part. Animated avatars are now allowed. Even our Founder uses them, so, keep that avatar if you wish.

Animated .gif images are also disallowed, due to the lagging problems they can cause on some computers.

And True's avatar is not animated, either. Change the avatar.

Sarge, the guidelines have yet to be updated so I'm positive that Arbiter knows what he is talking about besides if that were still true I'm sure that Truesonic would of noticed and said something. Besides have you not noticed the animated images in the personal photos of some of the profiles? I have. True visits the profiles all the time and never says anything.

OK, we're getting WAY off topic here but from my understanding that rule meant that animated images were not allowed ANYWHERE on the site including personal photos. I asked Herman about about it when I made an animated avatar featuring all of the games from the Mario Party series.

Hell, last time I checked, we can embed youtube videos now and those can cause lagging for certain people.

Hi! I'm Rae! Self proclaimed Mephiles Expert and a fanfictioner (I'll say that a lot to new people ^^ ). And, as of 11 posts ago, I finally found that darn fourth Chaos Emerald! *gestures to her rank bar on the left, pointing the the green Emerald*

That aside, you'll probably get to know me better by looking at my profile page (still needs work, I think...), and reading my posts. And my fics. I like writing, and I feel that my fics have better speech and vocabulary than my normal talk and write. ^^

I'm a proud Aspie (Asperger's Syndrome), and perpetually optimistic. ^^

My trademark (Favorite.) emoticon type thing I like to use is "^^", which I put at the end of most of my paragraphs or statements that are meant to be a bit silly or humorous, or to indicate a small smile. If you can't tell that I'm attempting to crack a joke, look for it. It's my internet giggle, so to speak. ^^

I also have a bit of a weird way of speaking (or typing here...), where I might try and create a visual in your mind to get a point across or to give an idea of how odd or silly a situation is. Look for them... ^^

And due to being a Mephiles fan... I will defend Next Gen as much as I make fun of it ^^
