Banner Contest

We need a new banner. The old banner has been fine while it lasted but I feel it isn't cutting it anymore. We need something more 'artsty' ya know? So if you'd like to help out then you can make a new banner that will be featured at the top of the Oekaki BBS.

The requirements for submitted banners...
1. Banner can be no bigger than 350 x 175
2. Banner must have a transparency on it like the one we have now.
3. Banner must be viewable by everyone (No adult content)

Mascot Contest
To top that off we are also going to try to have an official TSF Oekaki BBS Mascot who may or may not be featured on the forums as well. Needless to say the mascot contest is hereby opened! To enter, just post a link or image of your entry in this topic. If you want to submit more than one entry, go ahead. The entries will be judged on TSF by public votes. The staff will have the final say, but your votes will be the overall deciding factor. Do try and be creative~

PS: If you'd like you can kill two stones with one bird and make a banner with the mascot you had in mind~

The deadline to submit entries is September 1st for both the Banner and Mascot Contest!

New Mods needed
With Candy's computer troubles we are in dire need of active mods who have no problem checking on the boards daily to make sure everything is running smoothly. They are in charge of maintaining order, enforcing rules and keeping the boards clean and tidy. Mods also function as community managers for the Oekaki creating contests and other fun activities for the artists that visit the board. Mods will need to be friendly and patient while doing their best to keep the artists and board members happy. It's a fun job and those who are passionate about it will have the best chance of getting the position. If you'd like to apply for the position then post here and I'll set up an interview with ya via PM.

The Topic Awards: These Awards will be for the best topic on the forums along with members who make the topic. The topic in question will be pinned for 30 days at the top of the board.

Best Comic Series- Any comic on the site is allowed to enter. If one from Comix Zone wins then Comix Zone's forum will appear outside of the normal forum it's in.

Platinum Award
Member of the Month:

This is the best of the best award. This shows that the member excel in all the above. Will get their own usergroup for 30 days (with minor benefits) until the next award. Winners of this award can not re-enter for 2 months. Unless Staff Member or Admin wins it so their group won't change because their group is already above MotM Group.

Rules

1. Can only vote once in each award.
2. Members must be at least E Rank to Vote.
3. All members can be entered in any award unless otherwise noted.
4. Can NOT vote for yourself. Sorry, but it has to be fair.
5. Include newest username of user. Makes it easier to find them.
6. If Topic Award, include link to topic.
7. You do not have to vote in each award but must be a minimum of 5 Awards you are voting in.
8. When a person wins the award, they are unable to win it the next month.

Prizes

Custom Image
A Custom Image for you with the award won with the date of the Award.

Member of the Month Group
Ability to change your username 2 times every 15 days.
Less Flood Control (normal members have 30 seconds to wait, you have 10 seconds)
Custom Image: Like the Staff Members and Admins, you too will have your own image.
Increase in Upload Space: You can upload more images and have bigger files. Only a minor update however.
Can Delete your own posts: Screwed up? Don't worry about it.
